Diana: name numerology
Diana adds up to 20 in English, and — improbably — to 20 in Russian and Ukrainian too, so the Expression number is 2 in all three. Nothing else survives the crossing: the vowels here give a Soul Urge of 8, the two consonants a Personality of 9.

Diana, letter by letter
Each letter carries its value from this language’s table. They add to 20, which reduces to an Expression number of 2.
| Letter | Value |
|---|---|
| d | 4 |
| i | 9 |
| a | 1 |
| n | 5 |
| a | 1 |
| Total | 20 |
The breakdown above uses this language’s letter table. The Soul Urge is built from a separate vowel cipher, so adding up the values in this list will not reproduce it.
The goddess and the name
Diana was the Roman goddess of the hunt and the moon, identified with Greek Artemis, and the name is Latin. Its deeper root is usually given as dius, bright or of the day, related to dies — though the details are argued. English has used Diana as a given name since the Renaissance, alongside Diane and Dianna, which are different strings and therefore different sums.
Three tables, one total
In the Pythagorean table D is 4, I is 9, A is 1, N is 5 and A is 1 — twenty exactly. The Russian and Ukrainian spellings land on twenty too, out of completely different weights: Russian counts 5, 9, 1, 4, 1 and Ukrainian 6, 3, 1, 9, 1. Three alphabets, the same total, and no meaning in it beyond the arithmetic. After that the readings diverge. D and N are the only consonants and add to 9 with no reduction needed. In the soul cipher I drops to 6 while both A letters stay at 1, giving a Soul Urge of 8.

Is Diane calculated the same way?
No. Diane replaces the final A with an E, worth 5 instead of 1, and that single swap moves the total, the vowel sum and both derived numbers.
Why is the Personality number not reduced?
Because D and N total 9, a single digit already — there is nothing left to fold. That happens whenever the consonants of a name are few and light.
Does the shared total mean the spellings are equivalent?
No. Only the Expression number matches; the Soul Urge is 8 in English, 2 in Russian and 5 in Ukrainian.
