How to calculate your life path number
Add every digit of the date of birth and reduce the result to one place: 17 March 1990 → 1+7+0+3+1+9+9+0 = 30 → 3+0 = 3. The numbers 11, 22 and 33 are not reduced further — they are master numbers and read on their own terms.
The calculator does the reduction for you and handles the edges correctly: 29 February, dates after 2000, years with several zeros. Neither birth time nor birth place is used — the date is enough.
What the number describes
A life path number answers "how am I wired by default": what comes easily, what takes effort, and the conditions in which you work at your best. It is a description of how you operate, not a script of events.

Master numbers 11, 22 and 33
Master numbers are not reduced to 2, 4 and 6, because the method reads them as an amplified version of the base quality: 11 is sensitivity and insight, 22 is scale and building, 33 is service and teaching. The flip side of amplification is a higher cost of error and a tendency to burn out.
If your date produces a master number, read both it and the base digit: the base shows the dependable footing, the master number shows the bar you keep reaching for.

- The life path number comes from the date of birth and describes an innate way of operating. The destiny or expression number comes from the full name and describes how you come across to others. Different inputs, different questions — so the values often disagree, and that is normal.
- Does birth time affect the calculation?
- No. Only day, month and year are used. Birth time matters in astrology; it plays no part here.
- Why are 11 and 22 not reduced to 2 and 4?
- Because the method treats them as amplified versions of the base quality rather than copies of it. The practical approach is to read both: the base digit as your footing, the master number as the task.
- Does the number change over time?
- No — your date of birth does not change. What changes is how fully the number's strengths are expressed, which is why the same reading lands differently at 20 and at 40.
