Sources and basis of the method
We think it is right to say plainly where the method comes from, which part is common tradition and which part is our own wording. It also lets you verify the calculation yourself.
The tradition the calculations rest on
The Pythagorean square (psychomatrix) follows the widely used practice of counting the digits of a birth date across nine cells with additional derived numbers. The life path number follows the classical reduction of the digit sum to a single place, with 11, 22 and 33 kept as master numbers.
The destiny matrix uses the set of 22 major arcana and a placement across octagram positions — an approach that spread widely across schools in recent years, with differences in the details of the positions. We fix our own placement and describe it on the calculator page so the result stays reproducible.
Angel numbers are an interpretation of repeating sequences — a separate tradition with no calculation, which is why we publish them as content pages rather than as a calculator.
What we did ourselves
The interpretation wording is ours. We do not reprint a particular author's text and do not pass someone's book off as a service; the descriptions were written from scratch for one job — explain a meaning clearly and promise nothing extra.
The position layout, the value ranges and the reduction rules are fixed in our code and in the method description. That is also why our result can differ from another calculator online: it may use a different layout. We think it is correct to say that plainly rather than claim there is one true version.
How to verify, and how to report an error
Every calculation here is reproducible by hand: each calculator page states what is summed and how it reduces. If your own arithmetic disagrees, that is a reason to write to us rather than to assume the program knows better.
If an interpretation contains an error, an imprecision, or anything that reads like medical, legal or financial advice, tell us — we correct the description library, and the fix reaches everyone.
