Amina, letter by letter
Each letter carries its value from this language’s table. They add to 20, which reduces to an Expression number of 2.

The breakdown above uses this language’s letter table. The Soul Urge is built from a separate vowel cipher, so adding up the values in this list will not reproduce it.
An Arabic name and an English word from one root
Amina is the feminine of Arabic amin, trustworthy or faithful, built on the triliteral root a-m-n. The same three consonants give aman, safety, iman, faith, and amin — the word English borrowed through Hebrew and Greek as amen. Amina and amen are therefore linguistic relatives, which is a fact about Semitic word-building rather than about anyone who carries the name. It was borne by the mother of the Prophet Muhammad, which is part of why it spread across the Arabic-speaking world, and it now appears in English-language birth records every year.
Vowel, consonant, vowel, consonant, vowel
The letters alternate perfectly, which makes the split easy to see: three vowels against two consonants. M is 4 and N is 5, so the consonant column comes to exactly 9 and the Personality needs no reduction. The full spelling totals 20 and folds to 2. For the Soul Urge the cipher takes over, and I is where the two systems part company hardest — 9 in the table printed above, 6 in the cipher, the widest gap of any vowel. With A worth 1 at both ends, the Soul Urge lands on 8 rather than the 11 the main table would suggest.

Is Amina related to the word amen?
Both descend from the same Semitic root for trust and reliability, one through Arabic and the other through Hebrew and Greek. The link is etymological only.
Does Aminah with an H calculate the same?
No. The added H is worth 8 in the table, which lifts both the total and the consonant sum, so two of the three numbers move.
Which value for I is the real one?
Both are, each in its own column. The letter list uses the main table, where I is 9, and the Soul Urge uses the vowel cipher, where it is 6.
