Maria comes from Hebrew Miryam through Greek Μαρία, and English carries both it and Mary as living names rather than variants of one another. Marie, Mariah, Maja and Marya are separate spellings again. How five letters divide up

No. Mary is four letters with a Y where Maria has I and A, and English counts Y as a vowel, so both the vowel set and the total differ.
Does the accent in María change anything?
The accent is not in the table, so it is skipped and the letters underneath are read as usual. The result matches the unaccented spelling.
Why does I count as 9 in one place and 6 in another?
The full-name table and the vowel cipher are different tables. The breakdown on this page shows the first; the Soul Urge is built with the second.
