George: name numerology

Enter a name and a date of birth — the same engine that produced this page does the arithmetic.

The number costs nothing and asks for no address. The written reading is free as well — it asks for an email, because that is where the document is sent.

The answer appears right on this screen — no email is needed for that.

The same name, counted four different ways — and only the fourth touches your date.

All four arrive as one document. Each chapter says first what that number describes for anybody, and only then reads the one your letters produced; the same file comes to your email as a PDF made for printing.

This page counts one spelling of one name. The document says what that costs the method — spell the name another way and the numbers move with it — and it says so in the first chapter, not in a footnote at the end.

4 chapters

  • What the whole name adds up to
  • What the vowels are said to want
  • What the consonants show first
  • Where the tradition has the two numbers meet

You can read the whole document before you type anything: a complete example is published for an invented date — the same file you receive, open to the last chapter.

George reaches 39 across six letters and folds to an Expression of 3. The two G letters and the R make a Personality of 5, and the three vowels give a Soul Urge of 1 — the lowest figure a soul column can reach.

Each letter carries its value from this language’s table. They add to 39, which reduces to an Expression number of 3.

The breakdown above uses this language’s letter table. The Soul Urge is built from a separate vowel cipher, so adding up the values in this list will not reproduce it.

A farmer name that became a royal one

Georgos in Greek is a worker of the earth: ge, earth, plus ergon, work. The soldier-saint of that name was known in England from early on but became the country patron only in the fourteenth century, and the name itself stayed uncommon until the Hanoverian kings arrived in 1714 and gave England six of them in a row. It is seventh in England and Wales today, and considerably lower in the United States.

Where thirty-nine comes from here

G is 7, E is 5, O is 6, R is 9, the second G is 7 and the final E is 5. The two G letters at 7 each plus R at 9 make 23 on their own, which is the entire consonant column and folds to 5. The full total of 39 folds through 12 to 3. The vowel column is the interesting one: E is 3 in the soul cipher and O is 4, so 3 plus 4 plus 3 is ten, which folds to 1. It is rare for three vowels to reduce that far.

Why is the Soul Urge only one?

Because the three vowels total exactly ten in the cipher, and ten folds to one. A single digit more or less anywhere would have avoided it.

Do Georgia and Georgina share these numbers?

They do not. Both add letters after the final E, so their totals are larger and each has three figures of its own.

Is the Russian Georgiy the same name?

Historically yes, and arithmetically no. It is a different string read against a different alphabet table, so nothing carries across.
