Alexey, Alexei, Aleksei
Alexey is one of several English transliterations of Russian Алексей, competing in print with Alexei and Aleksei. They are different strings of letters and there is no canonical choice among them, so each produces its own result. The Greek root, alexein, to ward off, is shared with Alexander, but the two names diverge immediately after it and have never been interchangeable in use.
Two consonants and a doubled nine
The six letters total 27 and reduce to 9. The largest value in the breakdown belongs to the final Y at 7, and yet Y never reaches the consonant sum, because this method files it with the vowels. That leaves L and X alone in the consonant column: 3 plus 6 lands on 9 with nothing left to reduce, so the Personality matches the Expression without the two sums being related to each other. No. It ends in I rather than Y, and those two letters differ in both the main table and the vowel cipher, so all three numbers move.
Why does the Personality equal the Expression?
The two consonants happen to total 9, the digit the whole name also reduces to. It is arithmetic coincidence and the page reads nothing further into it.
Does the Cyrillic spelling give this result?
No. Алексей runs through the Russian table, which assigns those seven letters their own values, so the outcome has no reason to match.
