Kirill: name numerology

The number costs nothing and asks for no address. The written reading is free as well — it asks for an email, because that is where the document is sent.

The answer appears right on this screen — no email is needed for that.

The same name, counted four different ways — and only the fourth touches your date.

All four arrive as one document. Each chapter says first what that number describes for anybody, and only then reads the one your letters produced; the same file comes to your email as a PDF made for printing.

This page counts one spelling of one name. The document says what that costs the method — spell the name another way and the numbers move with it — and it says so in the first chapter, not in a footnote at the end.

4 chapters

  • What the whole name adds up to
  • What the vowels are said to want
  • What the consonants show first
  • Where the tradition has the two numbers meet

You can read the whole document before you type anything: a complete example is published for an invented date — the same file you receive, open to the last chapter.

Kirill is not the English form of this name — that is Cyril, which shares only three letters with it. The six letters of Kirill total 35 for an Expression of 8, with a Personality of 8 as well and a Soul Urge of 3.

Each letter carries its value from this language’s table. They add to 35, which reduces to an Expression number of 8.

The breakdown above uses this language’s letter table. The Soul Urge is built from a separate vowel cipher, so adding up the values in this list will not reproduce it.

Cyril, Kirill and Kyrylo

Greek Kyrillos comes from kyrios, lord or master. English inherited it as Cyril, through Latin and the church, centuries before it ever met a Russian speaker; Kirill is the Russian spelling put into Latin letters, and Ukrainian passports give a third form, Kyrylo. The name belongs to the monk who took it shortly before his death and after whom the Cyrillic alphabet is named — though the script he actually devised was Glagolitic, and Cyrillic came later, from his pupils.

Three nines and a doubled L

The main table reads K as 2, I as 9, R as 9, I as 9 again, and each L as 3, totalling 35 and reducing to an Expression of 8. Three of the six letters carry a nine, and between them they hold twenty-seven of the thirty-five. The consonants K, R, L and L add to 17 and give a Personality of 8 — the same digit as the Expression, reached from a different sum, which is arithmetic and nothing beyond it. The two I letters are the only vowels, and the soul cipher prices I at 6 rather than 9, so twelve becomes a Soul Urge of 3.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Is Cyril the same name as Kirill?

By descent yes, as spellings no. Cyril totals 31 for an Expression of 4, and its Y is read as a vowel, so none of the three numbers carries over.

Does Kyrylo give these numbers?

No. The Ukrainian transliteration replaces both I letters with Y and drops one L, totalling 34 for an Expression of 7 and a Soul Urge of 5.

Do both L letters really count?

Yes. Every occurrence of a letter is added at its table value, so the doubled L contributes 3 twice. Drop one and the total falls from 35 to 32.
